A Different Kind of Rating
Traditional governance ratings are opinions — texts produced by analysts that can be questioned, interpreted, and ignored. Certo Rating is something different: a cryptographic record of the decision-making process that exists independently of its creator's infrastructure.
Each rating decision is anchored outside the institution's own infrastructure. It can be verified offline. It can be publicly audited. It cannot be unilaterally revoked or changed without generating a visible trace.
Who Certo Is For
Certo Rating is a tool for institutions that want to demonstrate — not merely declare — the quality of their governance:
For public institutions — rating as a tool of accountability to citizens and supervisory bodies. Verifiable evidence of compliance with EU governance standards required by law.
For corporations — rating as an element of due diligence in M&A processes, fundraising, and investor relations. An objective foundation for ESG reporting.
For healthcare entities — rating as confirmation of governance standards required by healthcare sector regulators.
For defense organizations — rating as verification of compliance with security procedures and public contractor requirements.
For non-governmental organizations — rating as a transparent signal to donors, partners, and beneficiaries.
Trust Badge Certo
An entity with an active Certo Rating may use Trust Badge Certo — a cryptographically signed verification badge. Each click on the Trust Badge leads to a public registry confirming the currency and scope of the rating.
Trust Badge Certo is not a decoration. It is evidence — verifiable by anyone, at any time, without the Foundation's intermediation.
